Note taking when testing an idea exercise

  1. Clinic hosts will have a raffle bag which will contain tickets that contain different types of note taking

  2. Each mentor will pick a ticket and will adopt the note taking approach on the ticket

  3. The clinic hosts will role play a requirements meeting where one host is the product owner and the other is asking the product owner questions

  4. Groups will take notes during the role-playing session

Use Active listening to observe the students as they work.

Offer suggestions if they are struggling to take notes and encourage them to note down points you feel are important

We are expecting some students to succeed and some to fail. Different note taking approaches will be more successful than others and we want students to discuss that.
